A surefire highlight of everyone’s visit to Ardenwoods is sitting down for a meal in our Dining Room prepared by our amazing chef, Bill McBee. We wanted to share a quick and simple quiche recipe that is an Ardenwoods fan favorite!
This recipe will come in handy if you are entertaining family and friends, or if you want a meal you can eat on all week long. This little formula works great for one to ten quiches.
What You’ll Need:
9” par baked pie shell (par baked: baked partially, then rapidly frozen)
1 cup of Heavy Cream
3 Eggs
½ Cup Shredded Cheese
2 cups of cooked, diced ingredients of your choosing
What is so great about quiche is that the possibilities are endless. You can choose your favorite type of cheese to use in the fluffy egg filling and complement it with any additional ingredients that you want! Whether it be ham, bacon and onions for a Quiche Lorraine, Spinach and Feta Cheese for a Greek style quiche, or just any vegetables that you have in the fridge, you can customize your quiche to your specific taste.
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Combine cream, eggs and cheese into a bowl and mix together well.
3. Pour egg mixture into piecrust.
4. Add any additional ingredients of your choosing.
5. Put in oven for 20-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Hot Tip: Remember, if you precook the ingredients you can shorten the cooking time, and reduce the amount of water to avoid a soggy crust.
